Probably one of my best piping efforts to date. I was lucky in that I finally had the right consistency for piping the edges. I also learned that it is not possible to pipe on to the cake direct, it is so much easier to pipe on to a layer of icing.
The top row of piping was a necessity to cover the join between the two colours of icing. I'm afraid I did not make the flowers, I buy them ready made.
