what to look for in a fabric and how to pair it with a pattern.
While my sewing queue has grown ever
longer, I didn’t do that much sewing this year. I went for long stretches

finishes now, and the world of knits has opened up to me. I could not have made
the Karen dress to my satisfaction if I hadn’t had it. I’m looking forward to
sewing up some more knits that I have in my stash.
